
Reverend Mbongeni Ncube
Board Chairperson & Development AdvisorReverend Mbongeni Ncube is a respected faith and development leader with more than 30 years of experience in pastoral ministry, education, community development, monitoring and evaluation, and international development practice.
He serves as Senior Pastor of the Brethren in Christ Church (BICC) in Queens Park, Bulawayo, where he provides spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and community guidance. He holds a Master of Transformational Development from Eastern College Australia and received his theological training from the Theological College of Zimbabwe.
His professional experience includes serving as Monitoring and Evaluation Supervisor for World Vision Zimbabwe (2006–2010), Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Oxfam Great Britain (2005–2006), and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for CARE International (2002–2004). Earlier in his career, he served as a High School Teacher at Mtshabezi High School (1990–2002) and as Ministry Director for All Believers in Christ Ministries (2003–2008).
His expertise includes community mobilization, youth mentorship, family strengthening, programme accountability, systems strengthening, organizational development, and sustainable community transformation. As Board Chairperson and Development Advisor, he provides strategic leadership, governance oversight, and guidance that strengthen the mission, impact, and sustainability of Hope and Care International.

America Ndlovu
Founder & Executive DirectorAmerica Ndlovu holds a Bachelor of Social Work Honours Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Science in Development Studies from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Gender and Security Studies with the University of Liberia.
She has more than 20 years of experience leading child protection, gender equality, youth development, and disability inclusion programmes with international non-governmental organizations. Her work focuses on social justice, youth empowerment, community development, and creating sustainable opportunities for vulnerable populations.o.

Pastor Shalom Ndlovu
Leadership Team | Pastor, Faith-Based Mentorship & Youth AdvocacyPastor Shalom Ndlovu holds a BA in Theology and is passionate about restoring dignity to the vulnerable. He has worked with young people who have struggled or dropped out of school to return, heal, and become their true selves. Through practical support and faith-based mentorship, he helps youth rewrite their stories. He is also actively involved in church advocacy, speaking up for justice, compassion, and community transformation. His heart is to see every person valued, equipped, and restored.

Siphathisiwe Khanye
Programs and Social Development SpecialistSiphathisiwe Khanye holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Science in Disaster Management from NUST, and a Master of Science in Social Work from Midlands State University.
She is an experienced social work practitioner who has worked extensively with vulnerable populations, including prisoners under the Ministry of Justice and communities served through the City of Bulawayo. Her expertise includes psychosocial support, social protection, disaster management, community development, and youth empowerment.

Sebenzile Nyathi
Communications and Development SpecialistSebenzile Nyathi holds an Honours Degree in English and Communication and a Master of Science in Development Studies. She is currently pursuing a PhD with the University of South Africa (UNISA).
She combines expertise in communication, research, development practice, stakeholder engagement, and information technology. She currently serves within the Judicial Service Commission and contributes strategic leadership in organizational communication and development programming.

Yoliswa Mpofu
Finance and Audit SpecialistYoliswa Mpofu holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Entrepreneurship from Lupane State University and is currently pursuing the ACCA qualification.
He is a finance and audit professional with experience in internal auditing, financial governance, risk management, and accountability systems. His commitment to transparency, integrity, and responsible stewardship strengthens the financial sustainability and governance of Hope and Care International.

Rosemary Dube
Business Administration and Customer Relations SpecialistRosemary Dube holds a Master of Business Administration and a Degree in Marketing from the Zimbabwe Open University.
She is a customer-focused and detail-oriented business administrator with more than 19 years of experience in the banking industry. Her expertise includes customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, business operations, administration, and service excellence. She contributes valuable leadership and administrative expertise that supports the organization’s growth and effectiveness.

Sineculo Ncube
Leadership Team | Social Work & Youth Development SpecialistSineculo Ncube is a passionate, Bulawayo-based social worker specializing in community development, psychosocial support, and social behavior change. She holds a Diploma in Social Work and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Social Work from the Women’s University in Africa.
Her diverse professional experience spans holistic rehabilitation, youth counseling, and institutional advocacy. Notably, Sineculo has successfully managed comprehensive rehabilitation and treatment plans for individuals facing substance abuse and mental health challenges, and has delivered vital psychosocial care and family-reunification services for hospitalized and incarcerated populations.
Currently serving as a school counselor, she dedicates her expertise to adolescent mental wellness and instilling the values of Ubuntu. As a young leader herself, Sineculo is deeply committed to sustainable development and pioneering impactful, long-term solutions for the daily challenges facing today’s youth..
